This past year has been challenging for most of us. It hasn't been easy as we navigated though another year of uncertainty and change. I don't know about you, but I am ready for a new beginning and have hope for this coming year.
For the past few years, I have chosen a word to carry me through the year. I print it out and put it on my bulletin board, above my computer where I can see it everyday. My word for this year is: "Reimagine".
I think it somewhat appropriate in light of the past two years. I heard this word more than once and knew it was for me. It means to imagine, conceive, reevaluate, redefine, or create something in a new way.
As I continue on my artist journey, I want to redefine my work and continue on the path of creative growth.
These past two years have taught me to appreciate the smaller things, creating more balance in my daily life.
I wish you a year reimagined and full of love to carry your though 2022!
